Collier’s Comfort Supports Friends Who Care with a Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser

Wednesday, September 27th, 2017

Here at Collier’s Comfort Services, we believe that belonging to a community means more than just running a reliable business. That’s why we work hand-in-hand with Friends Who Care, a local cancer relief organization that helps cover necessities like groceries and gas that aren’t covered by insurance. We’re proud of our association with such a tremendous organization, and committed to helping it lend a hand to those in need in The Fort Wayne, IN area.

As part of that ongoing effort, we’re hosting a Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser Saturday, October 14 at Lighted Gardens in Ossian. Community members are showing their pride by bringing their prized chili recipes for tasting and judging, and all attendees will get a chance to weigh in on the best chili of the night. There will also be a live band, a cash bar, drinks, local vendors in attendance, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle for all attendees. Best of all, all of the proceeds will go to Friends Who Care, and provide relief for local members of the community go through cancer treatment.

Tickets cost only $5, and there’s no charge for children 12 or under. You can purchase them both on our site, and directly from Friends Who Care. (Call them at 260-307-1074.) Join us at Lighted Gardens for a good time helping a good cause!

It gives you time to plan and prepare for the operation, and schedule a replacement session according to your timetable instead of having to run around in the face of an unexpected breakdown. That also lets you enjoy the improved performance and reduced operating costs that a new heating system will bring, helping you cut down on those high monthly bills from the time the first snow falls.
